A 'Tone Matched' preset for the 'Live' tones from the 'Where the Wild Things Are' concert by 'Steve Vai'
Now available in multiple versions. For 'High Output Humbucker Pickups' (the original version), 'Medium Output Humbucker Pickups', and 'Low Output Humbucker Pickups'.
Created on an 'Axe-Fx III' and an 'Ernie Ball Music Man' 'Axis' guitar with stock 'Humbucker' pickups through a 20-ft long cable.
Now available in three different versions. For 'High Output Humbucker Pickups' (the original version), 'Medium Output Humbucker Pickups', and 'Low Output Humbucker Pickups'.
Try all three versions to see which one works best for you. You can also mix and match them to work with multiple guitars.
Steve switches between the 'Bridge' and 'Neck' pickups throughout his songs. Try rolling back the 'Tone' knob (if you guitar has one) while on the 'Neck' pickup, for a smoother tone.
Any included 'Custom' IRs should be imported into the same 'User Cab' slot(s) (if currently unused) listed below. If the 'User Cab' slot(s) are being used in your unit, you can use any other slot(s) that you wish. But you must go to the Cab block(s) in the preset and set them to use the new slots that you are now using.
Cab block #1 (Cab 'L') uses the 'Live VAI (Moke)' IR....('User Bank 2' slot #718)
Includes Two versions of the preset.
One Preset with 3 'External Controllers'........
External #1 - Wah (Wah block 1 Control)...'Auto-engage' at 5% (heel down -off)
External #2 - Main volume (Vol/Pan 1)
External #3 - Wammy ('A'=1 octave up, 'B'=2 octaves up) (Pitch block 1 Control and Mix)...'Auto-Mix' (heel down -off) Filter block #2 is automatically removing excess highs as the 'Wammy' pedal's pitch is increased.
One Preset with (nec) added to the name with 'No External Controllers' for those without 'Expression' Pedals'. The 'Wah' operates as an 'Auto-Wah' in this version.
Scene #1....Main Rhythm tone
Scene #2....Main Rhythm tone (adds a 'Stereo Chorus' effect)
Scene #3....Solo tone (adds more gain and delay, a mid boost and a 'Detune' effect that gets stronger as you play higher notes)
Scene #4....Same as #3 (adds a 'Stereo Chorus' effect)
For the '(nec)' version, Scenes #5 through #8 are copies of #1 through #4, with the addition of a 'Whammy' affect 'A'=1 octave up, ('B'=2 octaves up).
