A 'Tone Matched' preset for the song 'Rainbow in the Dark' by 'Dio'
Now available in multiple versions. For 'High Output Humbucker Pickups' (the original version), 'Medium Output Humbucker Pickups', and 'Low Output Humbucker Pickups'.
Includes the 'Synth/Pad' part of the song. It automatically plays in sync with the tempo when Scene 2 is selected.
Created on an 'Axe-Fx III' and an 'Ernie Ball Music Man' 'Axis' guitar with stock 'Humbucker' pickups through a 20-ft long cable.
Now available in three different versions. For 'High Output Humbucker Pickups' (the original version), 'Medium Output Humbucker Pickups', and 'Low Output Humbucker Pickups'.
Try all three versions to see which one works best for you. You can also mix and match them to work with multiple guitars.
This one has a cool bonus.........It includes the 'Synth/Pad' part of the song. The notes play automatically using the 'Sequencer' controller (like a backing track sample), so you are free to play the rhythm guitar part. The 'Synth/Pad' part , and all associated controllers, are tied to the tempo of the preset. So the speed of the 'Synth/Pad' part will track any tempo that you input with the 'Tap Tempo' switch. Also, when you switch back to scene 1 at the end of the 'Synth/Pad' parts of the song, a dedicated Delay block will continue echoing the last two notes, like in the original recording. The preset tempo loads at 118 bpm (an average of the studio recording).
The 'Synth' part (only) and it's related effects, are also being sent out of Output #3 for sending to monitors or In-Ear systems.
Any included 'Custom' IRs should be imported into the same 'User Cab' slot(s) (if currently unused) listed below. If the 'User Cab' slot(s) are being used in your unit, you can use any other slot(s) that you wish. But you must go to the Cab block(s) in the preset and set them to use the new slots that you are now using.
Cab block #1 (Cab 1 'L') uses the 'Rainbow (Moke)' IR....('User Bank 2' slot #713)
Cab block #1 (Cab 2 'R') uses the 'Rainbow Solo (Moke)' IR....('User Bank 2' slot #714)
Includes Two versions of the preset.
One Preset with 2 'External Controllers'........
External #1... Synth volume (Vol/Pan 2)
External #2... Main volume (Vol/Pan 1)
One Preset with (nec) added to the name with 'No External Controllers' for ease of use.
Scene #1....Main rhythm
Scene #2....Main rhythm - plus the 'Pad/Synth' part. 'Pad/Synth' sequence starts immediately when Scene 2 is selected and continues until you select another Scene. (speed linked to the Tap Tempo if needed)
Scene #3....Main rhythm (optional -1 dB louder for just after the Solo)
Scene #4....Solo.
Scenes #5 through #8 are not used.
